With Meditation, Dance & Sacrifice, I wanted to write an exciting and virtuosic work for solo guitar that would be suitable for performance in the concert hall. It offers many challenges to the guitarist, but is also highly enjoyable to play. Journeying though almost 8 minutes of emotional highs and lows, the guitarist unfolds a loose narrative of primal ritual and energy.
